The report provides the only comprehensive species by species review of sightings, breeding records and population trends for the Huddersfield area. If you wish to know about the birds of the area, this is the book for you !

In addition there is a useful checklist of every species ever recorded in and around Huddersfield, a gazetteer of birding locations and interesting articles on local birding topics.

Price: £4.00, plus £1.30 p&p, total £5.30.

Note: we have limited stocks of some previous "Birds in Huddersfield" annual reports – if you are interested please contact us.

Birds of Blackmoorfoot Reservoir 1985-2003
Birds of Blackmoorfoot Reservoir 1985-2003 'Birds of Blackmoorfoot Reservoir 1985-2003' is the third such review produced by the Club, the previous reports covering the years 1959-1973 and 1974-1984. It is based upon bird sightings submitted by Club members and other volunteer birdwatchers.

Blackmoorfoot Reservoir lies in the shadow of the Pennines, some 5.6 km to the south-west of Huddersfield. It is important in ornithological terms both for the number and variety of birds it attracts and because it is one of the most regularly watched and systematically recorded sites in the Huddersfield area. It therefore provides a fascinating insight into the birdlife of Huddersfield and how this has changed over the years.

Price: £3.50, plus £1.30 p&p, total £4.80.
