just returned from poking around for nightbirds etc and, ironically, find there's a bat hunting around the garden.  i've seen them here before but never id to species, tho they're small and I assume one of the pipistrelle's sp? if anyone has a detector tho I should be interested to ID the bat as we are pretty high up here ne winscar   I  can offer tea and cake in return.
