Dave,

Are you deliberately trying to make my life difficult in deciding in deciding 'Bird of the Month' on the new website ? Just as I thought it was sorted with the GW Egret, here you come up with another ! Excellent find and photos, well done.

Mike.

Cheers Mike. I know which one I'd go for but then I'm biased.

Anyway never mind. With any luck the R-b Gull will stick around and the Egret will be relocated on March 1st and so then you'll have either one to save over for next month's.  Smiley

Haven't had time to go through all the pics yet but here's another from Tues, 23rd.

By the way, I hear it reappeared this aft for 20 mins before flying off east at 1525.

no brainer - the gull is very very rare in yorks  - having said that individuals can return each winter - let's hope this does

Here's one I made earlier. I did manage to get a few sketches despite the wet conditions. This bird with notes reminds me of an example of work from the 'God from Gotland' ah, ah, ah.
