Snow Bunting - Pule Hill 19/01/22 (Read 1572 times)

	A female snow bunting found yesterday by Anthony Capuano at Pule Hill, Marsden. ( news put out on twitter and Bidguides ) I decided to have a go for it this morning. It was very windy on the top by the trig point but after 20 mins I had managed to accidentally flush the bird from the side of the path going North ( cliff edge parallel to A62 ) and only managed a brief flight view as flew over the moor. After about an hour or so searching all the paths on the top I managed to relocate the bird. A couple of pics below, it’s been a few years since my last Hudds Snow Bunting.

	Re-identified as a 1w male by Tim Melling. Here are a few of his pics from this afternoon. The Snow Bunting was in the same place that I found it this morning, so might stay? if anybody fancies the climb! my lungs are still aching.
