I recently took delivery of this amazing book that was published at the end of last year. My understanding is that this is the first ever single publication containing all the birds of the world. The content and illustrations are amazing though to get the absolute best requires some modern technology in the form of a QR code reader.  Has any other member invested?

I was tempted Geoff but already have the two volume Illustrated Checklist of the Birds of the World, also published by Lynx. In addition I subscribe to Birds of the World website, hosted and managed by Cornell, which is a fantastic resource and on which your book is based.

None of these things are exactly cheap but they are really great quality.

On the other hand my world-birding enthusiasm shuddered to a grinding halt last year after we returned from Gujarat. I haven't even been to Lancashire since then!
