Well yes i know its not a native and they have been in the area for 40 years. what's going for it though is that it is a bird and living in the valley  Magdale  Valley Honley where mute  swans have lived and bred in this year for the 1st time?    so good choice and maybe like the Canada Goose in 300 years it will be accepted as a native.
