The Friends of Rectory Park,.Thornhill in partnership with Kirklees council,have been awarded funding from the heritage lottery fund to help people explore and learn about nature in rectory park, and area,s around the park, Myself and John Hamilton will be. putting up a few bird boxes. And showing people the new feeding station.and different habitats around the park . The launch event details are Saturday 21st September, at 2pm.  Further information can be found on www.rectory-park.co.uk and click on green park.
