It's a good argument.I do most of my birding when I am out walking,rather than walking when birding and in the garden.
Last year sometime my wife came to one of the talks and noted a couple of women who had clearly come for the first time but were not welcomed by anyone from the Committee. I had not taken much notice but I have not seen them since.
