Planning a holiday/visit to see family in Northern Italy, Padova nr Venice, in early May of this year. Obviously going to get a couple of days birding in somehow/somewhere anybody out there had any experience in this area of Italy i.e. Venice/Po Delta region birding wise in the aspects of sites, birds expected to see, reference books, guides, sensitives areas etc etc any help would be appreciated, thanks  Cool

I have a copy of Where to Watch Birds in Italy (LIPU 1994) which you would be welcome to borrow if you're coming to next week's meeting.

Thanks for help Alf, unfortunately can't make meeting I have asked John Palliser, if you don't mind, to accept/pick up the where to watch birds on my behalf if thats okay
