a revision of "BIRD" by Hayman & Hume ,now coffee table size, mentioned in latest RSPB mag.,comes with ipod/pc field guide.noticed it in Waterstones, Manchester at half price i.e.£12.50

The book [from Amazon] is worth £12.50 of anybody's money!

The ipod Field Guide will download onto a PC but needs to be unzipped every time if you want to access it!
It's still worthwhile having, though, simply for the calls / notes sound-tracks.

No doubt it works well on an ipod which, unfortunately, I don't possess.
I may be one of the few people left alive on the planet that suffers from that affliction.

whats an ipod? my daughters looked aghast when i said i wanted a small cd player.
